- Kalahari are a stretch tent hire company set up in 2013, we are located on the border of Surrey and West Sussex, we supply tents all over the UK and have provided tents to a number of high profile corporate clients, festivals, weddings and all manner of private events.
- As a small, family run business, Kalahari Events always deliver a personal service working closely with our clients every step of the way to deliver the perfect event. We have a small but beautiful range of stretch tents which means that we can focus on your event and make sure it’s right for you. With every season we learn a little more and that experience helps us to use these wonderful tents to their full potential.
What..
- Stretch tents have been around since the early 2000’s and are a stylish alternative to other types of marquee. They are a modern take on the Bedouin tent. The poles inside the tent are held down under the tensioned fabric, this gives us the freedom to place the poles in different positions which helps us deliver the stunning finishes we are looking to create. The tents are highly resistant to wind and bad weather and make beautiful shades in the sun. Patio heaters and sides down in the cooler weather make the tents cosy in the winter and all sides up with a gentle breeze keeps your guests cool and protected from the summer sun.
- All of tents are waterproof and now come with the option of bamboo or aluminium poles and we offer lighting, flooring and heating options which have been especially selected to compliment the tents both aesthetically and for their performance.
Where..
- .... Where haven’t we built a stretch tent would illicit the shorter answer! On beaches, the side of mountains, suspended between courtyards, on roof tops, the list goes on. “Versatility” is the the key word here, stretch tents can often go where other tents can’t and keep their dignity whilst doing it! We have gone off road, hung off the side of buildings and even had to reach a remote beach by boat.
- We can travel all over the UK and even into Europe if requested.
